Born and raised in Dane County, Steve began his career in public service with the Montana Highway Patrol. After returning to his hometown with his wife and sons, he joined the Middleton Police Department, proudly serving the community for twenty-seven years.

During his law enforcement career, Steve nurtured his passion for real estate by working part-time as a licensed appraiser and general contractor. These roles sharpened his attention to detail and deepened his commitment to helping others achieve their goals.
